"Meds Log" (the "App") values your privacy above all else. This policy explains the information the App handles and how it is handled.

1. Our Most Important Promise
Your records (the names of your medicines, dose records, mood, notes, and the contents of your summaries) are all stored on your device. They are not sent to the operator's servers. The operator cannot see the contents of your records.
Sharing with the home screen widget also takes place within a shared area on your device (App Group) and never leaves the device. Exporting your records (CSV and JSON) happens only through your own action.
2. Information Collected Anonymously
To improve the App, we collect anonymous information that does not include the contents of your records, through the following services.

These never include the names of your medicines, dose records, mood, notes, or the text of your summaries. For how Google handles data, please see the Google Privacy Policy.
Barometric Pressure Forecast (optional setting)
If you turn on the barometric pressure forecast, the App retrieves the pressure forecast for the place you select from the weather service Open-Meteo. You can pick a place from a list of Japanese prefectures or by searching for a city name (the search term is sent only to Open-Meteo). Only the representative coordinates of the chosen place and your search term are sent; your device's location information, current position, and the contents of your records are not sent (the App does not use location permissions either). You can switch this setting back to off at any time.
3. Advertising
On the free plan, the App displays advertisements via Google AdMob. The App requests only non-personalized ads (NPA). We do not perform tracking for behavioral targeting; however, cookies or device identifiers may be used within the ad delivery mechanism in order to serve ads and prevent fraud. For details, please see Google's advertising policies.
No advertisements are shown on the Premium plan.
4. Purchases
Payments for paid plans are processed through Apple's App Store. The operator never receives your credit card information. To confirm your purchase status, the App uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.), which processes an anonymous identifier and purchase information (such as plan type and purchase date). 5. Notifications
Reminders (medication reminders) are local notifications that stay entirely on your device. The contents of notifications never pass through the operator's or any third party's servers.
6. Disclosure to Third Parties
Except as required by law, we do not provide the collected information to any third party other than the service providers listed above.
7. Data Retention
Retention periods for each kind of information are listed below. The operator does not store or retain your data on its own servers.

8. Deletion of Data
- All records on your device are erased when you delete the App. You can also erase them from "Delete all records" inside the App.

9. Use by Children
The App does not knowingly collect the personal information of children under the age of 13.
10. Revisions
This policy may be revised as necessary. Significant changes will be announced within the App or on this page.
